2 in critical condition following multi-vehicle crash

Walking in the darkness at night can be dangerous, but that doesn't mean it's an excuse for drivers to hit pedestrians. Pedestrians have a right to be on the roads and sidewalks; negligent drivers put them at risk. Sometimes, crashes happen suddenly, and pedestrians happen to become involved as vehicle spin out of control.

If you've been in a multi-vehicle accident like this one, you may have considered talking to your lawyer about ways to be compensated for the injuries you've suffered and the wages you've lost. That's what the families of these two people may do, now that they have been hospitalized in critical condition with no updates on improving conditions.

According to the news report, the accident that injured the two pedestrians took place at around 7:30 p.m. It was then that a white vehicle collided with a street lamp before running into the pedestrians. There were three other vehicles involved as well, including a taxi driver who called 9-1-1 when he realized the extent of the accident. He had to swerve to avoid the pole when it fell after the collision, and he reported that he attempted to give first aid to the victims as they laid on the roadway.

Two people, a man and woman, were lying on the ground injured from the impact of the crashes; they have been the only people reported to have been injured in the accident. The driver of the vehicle wasn't injured, and he stayed at the scene to talk to the police. They have reported that they're still investigating what caused the accident.
